Daiso’s First Texas Location Coming to Carrollton Town Center

CARROLLTON, TEXAS: NewQuest Properties is pleased to announce that
Japan-based Daiso will be coming to NewQuest’s development of Carrollton Town Center. This 11,000+ SF location will be Daiso’s first store in Texas. Daiso currently operates 3,300 stores worldwide with a total of 44 stores in the United States with plans to open 20 stores throughout Texas. The Carrollton store is scheduled to open summer 2015. Carrollton Town Center is located at President George Bush Turnpike and Old Denton Road in Carrollton, Texas.
Daiso’s concept provides a variety of products for everyday life at very affordable prices. The store carries dining, kitchen, living, bath and stationery merchandise – 99% of which is developed in-house. Each store offers a unique experience allowing customers to find new and unexpected items. With a range of more than 70,000 products, Daiso has a strong reputation among discerning Japanese customers.
Carrollton Town Center is currently undergoing a $7MM face-lift and will be anchored by a new 99 Ranch Market. The development will feature other prominent Asian restaurants and retailers such as Gen Korean, Kung Fu Tea and Dan Sung Sa.
