KATY (Covering Katy) – It’s less than three miles between the Katy Freeway and Morton Ranch Road and in that small stretch, business are opening at a rapid pace. McDonalds, Moe’s Irish Pub and Chick-fil-A are among the retail establishments that will, or have opened in the area.
The development is happening due to the expansion of the Grand Parkway between I-10 and Highway 290. On the south end there are The Shoppes at Grand Crossing which is adjacent to Costco, and to the north there is the new Morton Town Center anchored by Walmart. There is also a new Kroger shopping plaza across the street. Each location has plenty of new commercial space available and new businesses are signing leases.
