Kroger invites you to the opening ceremony for its new Marketplace in League City
June 20, 2016
The League City Kroger Marketplace (1920 W. League City Parkway League City, TX 77573) will open its doors soon and we would like you to join the store manager, Deborah Hilton, and our senior executives for a ribbon-cutting ceremony and opening day celebration at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29.
The new addition to the city is a 123,000 sq. ft. Marketplace with a Kroger Fuel Center, Kroger Pharmacy, and Starbucks that will offer customers a food-centric shopping experience with chef-prepared bites and pastries, locally grown fruits and vegetables, specialty cheeses, premium-cut meats, fresh seafood, organic choices, international fares, full-bodied wines, and craft beers.
But the list doesn’t stop there. The Marketplace will have home goods and décor, kitchenware, small appliances, children’s toys, and contemporary clothing for the family.
Did you know Forbes magazine ranks Kroger as the most generous company in the U.S.? In alignment with that honor, the Clute Marketplace will support charitable organizations through our annual $1.5 million Kroger Community Rewards fundraiser program, volunteerism, financial gifts, and daily fresh food donations.
The opening of the League City Marketplace is creating 150 new jobs.
Kroger will help shoppers save money by accepting print and digital coupons; allowing customers to earn Fuel Reward points redeemable at Kroger Fuel Centers and participating Shell stations; and providing other deals and savings opportunities to leave customers feeling highly satisfied.
