Morelia Mexican Grill to open fourth location in Pflugerville

June 1, 2012

Morelia Mexican Grill, already a Round Rock staple, will expand its reach to Pflugerville this summer as the locally owned restaurant chain opens its fourth location in Stone Hill Town Center’s “restaurant row.”  A model of homegrown success, Morelia opened its first restaurant in 2005 when Israel Arreola Jr., president of the company, decided that his mother and father’s recipes were too good not to share.  A few years after the Elgin restaurant was established, Arreola convinced his parents to expand, opening the Round Rock restaurant in 2009. They then opened the Parmer Lane location in 2011, which their new restaurant in Stone Hill Town Center is modeled after.  The Pflugerville location will match the Parmer restaurant in size, but, unlike that Morelia, it will not have a patio.
