Kaishu Okada serves as Business Development Consultant for the Asian Pacific Retail Brokerage Division, and is based in Tokyo, Japan. Kaishu’s primary responsibility is sourcing and developing potential leads and opportunities with Japanese retailers and restauranteurs interested in exploring, initiating or expanding their physical retail presence in the U.S.
Prior to joining NewQuest, Kaishu was with Newmark Knight Frank in New York, accomplishing exclusive agreements with GEO Holdings and Nitori. Kaishu also has extensive real estate experience in Japan, where he has been in the industry nearly 20 years and owns a real estate consultancy business specializing in international expansions and rollouts in the U.S.
He is a graduate of Keio Academy in New York and completed master’s degree in political science at Keio University.
